Habitat: Ball Pythons like to reside in grasslands, savannas and sparsely wooded areas. Fun Facts: The smallest of the African pythons, nonvenomous, the term "Ball" comes from their tendency to curl up into a ball when stressed or threatened, also named "Royal Pythons" which is based on the stories of Cleopatra wearing them on her wrists. Human Impact: Humans like to get and trade ball pythons and keep them as pets. The are the most docile of all snakes and make great pets! |
