Location: Can be found on the East on in Brisbane, on the West in Shark Bay and around Tasmania.
Habitat: Live on seagrass beds or soft and silky or muddy bottoms. Can be found in shallow waters between .5 meters and 80 meters. Fun Facts: They are nocturnal, live between 5 to 8 months and can grow up to 7 cm long. Human Impact: Humans have no direct impact on the Dumpling squid. Like most fragile animals, the only impact humans have is pollution. Dumpling squid and their habitats are fragile and if infected by pollution could be wiped out of the world completely. |
